new Delhi [India], 14 December (ANI): Before the assembly elections to be held in Delhi early next year, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Saturday that political strategist Prashant Kishore’s election campaign of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Indian PAC national capital. Kejriwal led his party (AAP) to a historic victory by winning 67 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly during the 2015 elections.
Kishore has successfully conducted the election campaigns of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in 2015 and Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in 2017.
He led the YSRCP to a resounding victory in Andhra Pradesh during the 2019 assembly elections.
However, the political strategist’s alliance with the Congress for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections did not ensure victory for the party that defeated the BJP by a three-quarter majority.
Kishore, who is currently working with Mamata Banerjee and TMC in West Bengal, has worked with the Shiv Sena in the recently concluded Maharashtra assembly elections. (ANI)
